The Republicans presidential candidates really scare me this year. Can we use our tech skills to build apps to push donations to Obama, promote voter registration/turnout or increases awareness? This is the clearing house for ALL Nor Cal progressive curbside actions large and small that employ the miniprotesting model: three small groups of four spread out over three consecutive street corners with someone in each group's center holding a 30" x 40" main sign at waist level. Currently in the House of Representatives there is one representative for every 700,000 of the population. Let's discuss the mechanics of how we might restore what was meant to be a small-d democratic branch of our government to a more human scale with one representative for every 10,000 or 5000 or whatever makes sense with current technology and political common sense.
