I first heard of meetups when I lived in Atlanta and it is a great way to boost your social life. You could meet new friends, good dates, invites to parties, and I have even heard of people getting jobs. You never know who you can meet.

I want local Democratic Party Meetups because I want my two children, and their millions of counterparts, to have a world to look forward to. Because the Democratic ideals and party that I embrace have fled Alabama. Because--insert almost any word.
