Introduction
Hi. I'm a high school teacher in South Central LA. I am also my school's coordinator for UTLA (the local teachers' union). My wife, Teresa (also an LAUSD teacher), and I are anxious to do whatever we can to restore true democracy to our nation.
What Bobby is saying about this Meetup Group
Although I meet a couple of interesting people with whom I enjoyed speaking, I have to admit that this Meetup Group was not what I expected. All four people who attended this Meetup were new to this group. There was no host or organizer at the event. There was no agenda, no plan -- nothing. Although I was happy to meet like-minded people, I think that all of us were hoping for some sort of organizational structure. Unfortunately, this was completely lacking.
