***Five Years Too Many Iraq War Vigil***

Join us in Highland Park to protest this senseless war. People who have had enough of the Iraq war wasting lives and resources over the lies of war profiteers can participate in a nonviolent candle light vigil. Bring your family, candles, protest signs or any other creative means of expression to voice your outrage!

Wednesday, March 19, 6:00PM until breakup

Route 27 just north of Albany Street Bridge

Parking at the corner of Lincoln Highway (Route 27) and South Adelaide in the YMHA lot

    Former Member
    While I am supportive of any protest efforts against the war in Iraq, I was really looking forward to meeting other progressive Democrats in the area in a way to stimulate change. I've been to candlelight vigils before, and they're not an appropriate place to discuss politics. I hope that the next meeting will be a discussion oriented one.
