With proposals to dramatically change America’s health care system approaching an historic vote, the Illinois Tenth Congressional District Democrats (Tenth Dems) and WCPT-AM/FM (Chicago's Progressive Talk Radio) are hosting a meeting of nationally recognized experts in a forum emphasizing audience participation. The program includes a presentation by the Concord Coalition, a highly respected nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to eliminating federal budget deficits. It will be followed by the Tenth Dems University Roundtable, featuring two prominent advocates, one for single-payer and one for a market-driven approach.

Come hear Diane Lim Rogers, chief economist, and Sara Imhof, Midwest Regional Director of the Concord Coalition; Dr. Quentin Young, National Coordinator of Physicians for a National Health Program; and David Dranove, PhD, the Walter McNerney Distinguished Professor of Health Care Management at the Kellogg School of Management. The panel feature Dr. Young and Prof. Dranove will be moderated by Michael L. Millenson, a health care consultant and author who is also a nationally recognized health care thought leader.

Tenth Dems University courses are free, and open to all. Admission, however, may be limited due to room capacity. Priority admission is given to those who register in advance. For more information you can call 847-266-VOTE (8683).
