Alzheimers And The Republicans

As you may remember, our late president in the 80's Ronald Reagan had a long bout with the debillatating Alzheimers disease and finally lost his life to it. The question that we do not know and never will is when did he start to show signs that he had this disease. Did he have any symtoms while he was still in office? The reason that I bring this up is because we now have a president that could use it for an excuse of his actions and a candidate (John McCain) that would be 72 years old when taking office and a profound desire for war. Does this country really want a 72 year old man make the same decisions that the current president who acts like he has Alzheimers has made with the possibility that his age could be a negitive in his thinking? When you consider this candidates age and the fact that cancer has been in his background, you kind of wonder if this is the best that they can do for a candidate? If John were to win the presidency, the only change that he would make would be his diaper and a pledge to make depends our national flag!
