For too long, I've been feeling voiceless in Washington. Every time I write to Rick Keller, I get a form letter back reiterating the Bush talking points, which aren't in the best interest of the majority of Central Floridians. Two years ago I met Alan Grayson, and I found in him an ethical, principled and driven person. I knew then that I wanted to get him to DC; his voice is speaking for all of District 8, in all our spectrum of color and need.

Now here's your chance to meet Alan Grayson. What's important to you? Is it important to him? Take your concerns, be they personal, community or national, and get the answers face to face.

This meet-up could be the first step towards taking your district back and making it meaningful.

Based on response, we will locate a meeting place that can comfortably hold us. I'll email details as we get closer to the date. Because of the size of our district, we will try to find a centralized spot, but we will move the Meetup locations each month to make them accessible to more people.

Please bring your friends, but give me a number attending so I can accommodate everyone. Hope to see you there!
