About The Houston Democratic Party Meetup Group

HDPMG is a voluntary group of citizens who are prepared to assist you in discovering and developing your political abilities. We beleive that;

• Politics & ethics are not opposites.
  
• A personal life isn't complete without a spiritual and a political view
  
• The Democratic Idea is relevant to sustaining the form of freedom that preseves liberty at the expense of privildge
  

This site has been set up to allow everyone access to read your comments that are posted in the forum. As the Organizer, I have further set the initial participation criteria to allow members to post comment in the forum without censure, but currently all emails are moderated. There are two points that this policy serves;

• I want to encourage honest dialougue in real time between all parties, therefore it is preferable that you be aware that any private (email) communications are subject to censure.
  
• The Group has a stated mission of promotion of democratic ideals, therefore the initial policies of the Organizer can be reversed if that is the desire of the Group.
  

The bottom line is you may enter what you may wish to express in the HDPMG Forum within reason of the scope of this Groups mission, and excluding derragatory, profane or libelous information. You may contact the Organizer via email or use the following link to determine both my availability and contact by phone information. There is a charge associted to using this link of $0.89 per minute. This is to encourage you to consider the fact that no one person is responsible for solving all of the problems of the Group.

Additional Information

• Articles, Newsletters (RRS Feeds, etc...) and Documents (PDFs) currently appearing on the HDPMG MeetUp site may generally be acquired (downloaded) by members at no additional expense
  
• Archived items must be retreived and may be acquired by visiting Democrats MeetUp on my Ingenio Website. In general, a fee will be charged.
  
• The fees and charges collected will be used to maintain and expand this MeetUp Group's activities

Participation

• Organizers are welcome - This is a democratic organization and you may help by sharing the administrative or organizational chores. If you wish to add topics of interest, please submit a request stating the subject. Organizers must complete their personal profile, provide a valid email address and subscribe to the membership. This includes making payment of your membership dues. Please, submit your request.
