Meetup Description: Oops! Brian Wheeler, Citizen Patriot editorial writer and editor of Voice of the People, will NOT be our featured guest this month. I, your Asst. Organizer, Paul G. Thomas, managed to confirm arrangements with Brian for the wrong date. Turns out that Thursday, April 23, is Brian's birthday and, for some reason, he'd rather spend it with his wife and kids than with us! OK, fine. That means we can spend our Meetup talking about Brian behind his back. It'll be fun. So if you haven't RSVPed, you should do so now. If you've already RSVPed "Yes," you should still come. If you've RSVPed "No," you should now change to "Yes" and join the Cit Pat bashing!

Brian has agreed to be our featured guest in May, and I look forward to hearing from him. In the meantime, we have plenty to talk about on April 23, so plan to spend a couple of hours with fellow progressives discussing the state of the newspaper industry, the state of the nation, and the state of the state. (Please note that if you don't come, we might talk about you behind your back, too!)
