This event is sponsored by Book Passages in conjunction with the Institute for Leadership Studies at Dominican University, and is a benefit for the Environmental Education Council of Marin. Tickets for this event include a copy of The Assault on Reason as well as a donation to EECOM.

The Assault on Reason is a visionary analysis of how the politics of fear, secrecy, cronyism, and blind faith has combined with the belittling of the public sphere to create an environment dangerously hostile to reason. Al Gore is the former Vice President of the United States and chairman of Current TV, an independently owned cable and satellite TV nonfiction network for young audiences.
