There are SO MANY Democrats in Dallas County! Now we need to get together and get informed and motivated to make the changes we want in our country!!! We are off to a great start, both in our county and in the country as a whole - we still need to work on our state!

The purpose of this group is to reach people who want to be involved in changing our government through the Democratic Party or other organizations but haven't found their 'niche' yet - maybe they aren't sure where to start, or have called to volunteer somewhere and haven't been assigned a job yet. There are so many different ways to help, and we hope to help everyone figure out what they can do with the skills that they have to offer.

I believe that even more Democrats will want to vote after our spectacular win last November, but may still feel uninformed about how to get involved. Hopefully we can help change that feeling. We each need to reach out to our friends, co-workers, other people in our precincts, to help them find a way to feel involved and informed. Invite them to the Meetup, where they can have fun and learn about ways to get connected.

The tide is turning, and now we have to get ready for '08!
